Eddie Woods sales graduates are winning Graded stakes at a record pace this year, including a sweep of Keeneland's Graded stakes at a mile run over the April 10-12 weekend.

First, Jack Milton won the Maker's Mark Mile (G1), then Lady Eli won the Appalachian S. (G3), becoming the sixth and seventh Graded stakes winners this year for Eddie Woods sales program. This is far and away the most Graded winners of any consignor in the nation this season.

Jack Milton was winning his first Grade 1, when he charged to a 2 1/4-length victory in the $300,000 Maker's Mark Mile. Consigned by Woods to the 2012 OBS March Sale, the son of War Front has now earned $751,161 for owner Gary Barber and trainer Todd Pletcher. He was ridden to victory on Friday by Javier Castellano.

Undefeated Lady Eli, a finalist for the Eclipse Award as Champion Two-Year-Old Filly, started her sophomore season the way she exited her juvenile season, with a commanding win in fast time. The Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) victress was 2 1/2 lengths clear at the wire, with the mile run in a swift 1:35 4/5. Woods sold Lady Eli for $160,000 at the 2014 Keeneland April Sale. She has amassed a record of 4 wins in 4 starts and earnings of $794,800 for Sheep Rond Partners and trainer Chad Brown.

In addition to the seven Graded winners from sales consignments, Eddie Woods training center has produced two of this year's top Triple Crown candidates - Wood Memorial (G1) victor Frosted, and Santa Anita Derby (G1) runner-up One Lucky Dane.
