Stephanie's Kitten came from ninth place after a half mile to capture the $400,000 Darley Alcibiades (G1) by 1 1/2-lengths on opening day of the Keeneland fall meet (VIDEO). The 2-year-old filly was part of the Eddie Woods consignment at this April's OBS Spring sale.

The Ken and Sarah Ramsey homebred is now 2-0-2 in four starts, earning $277,526. Previously, she was third in the Natalma S. (G3) at Woodbine.

The Alcibiades earned  Stephanie's Kitten an automatic berth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) next month at Churchill Downs, but the connections said she would be pointed to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G2) instead.

"She's a little better on grass, but she was training so well on Polytrack," winning trainer Wayne Catalano said.

The winner was bred in Kentucky and is out of the Catienus mare Unfold the Rose, a daughter of Grade 1 winner Bail Out Becky.
